There is. A fly. Or two.
That have chosen to do as they do.
Around my desk
They're such a pest
I'd kill 'em, but they know I'd like to!

Little sods keep landing on my hand and tickling as I try to type, then fly up to my screen and walk cheekily along the top of my flat panel. ARGH!

Hmmm sounds like you too have had an encounter with the dozy Kamikasi flies of doom, that THINK THEY ARE MOTHS!
Circling round objects until they randomly connect, usually YOU!

Moths I can deal with - flies just make me feel eugh. Our house is usually full of midnight butterflies and as long as I switch off the light and open the window, they exit stage left quite happily. After a gentle kiss!

I have this problem with Gnats. When they go over your monitor screen, have you tried swatting them with your cursor?

If that fails, have tried left-clicking on them?

:p

Lol. I've a flat screen that had a couple of thunderbugs *inside* it earlier in the summer. Very bizarre being able to select the area they were in with a cursor.
