The fog of confusion

[Level – Public]

Please, if you text me, can you always endeavour to let me know who you are by signing off at the end. Or at the start if you prefer. Even the middle would be good. But somewhere would be good and help me no end.

You see, my phone got trodden on quite some time ago (at Live8, post is here) and all of the numbers I had were stored on the phone rather than on the sim. So whilst you may still have my number as it didn’t change and whilst you quite possibly think I ought to recognise your number, and though I probably should, I quite possibly don’t.

If in doubt, comment on this post with your number (which will automatically be screened), I’ll add it if I’ve not already got it stored and who knows, I may figure out who several of you are. It may well be that you’ve changed numbers and I’ve missed the post or you’ve forgotten to say.

Exceptions are, to save you time:

All the HoG Posse and appendages
Family
People I call regularly
Cammies
People who commented on the Live8 post

It’s very foggy outside. I can barely see the HUGE MAHOOSIVE footbridge over the A14 from my window, which is quit unnerving as it’s only about a minute away on foot and a very regular feature in my daytime view of the world. It’s also very cold. Ah well, Mexican day today which will warm me up. There is a Tacos Nachos Burritos van which parks up every lunchtime and I treat myself on Friday! The two men who serve there are always lovely and beam at me.

Edit - the bridge has now completely vanished into the fog. Pretty but not much fun to work in!

Right, I’m now off to do some work. Oh, [livejournal.com profile] huggirl / [livejournal.com profile] t_lab I forgot to look at Gwydir Street this morning. However, the Dr’s wife called and said she had a twin room, not a double, which was free tonight. £25 each including breakfast, call her on 01223 356 615 if you’re interested and haven’t found anywhere else.

And a final mention, just in case you’ve somehow missed it:

Tonight

Check out previous posts for more info if you're friended. Which reminds me I need to buy ice and milk on my way home.

Comment left screened hun. No need whatsoever to apologise but of course, if you'd been able to attend I'm sure we could have found plenty of dinrks which aren't 'drinks' for you to partake in :-). Chocolate and Toffee milkshake is nearly as good as Baileys.

Hope the do goes well.

I haven't texted you (don't have your number, and don't know you well enough to find out), but I did friend you, then have real life get in the way of introducing myself.

Anyways...
Hi, I'm Natalie. I suppose the main reason that I friended you is because I suspect I knew you from Carlisle, but there were also a few people on my friendslists who are also on [livejournal.com profile] devalmont's and yours.

Probably not the best reason to friend someone, but it's better than some of the other reasons I have heard.

Well I spent long enough in that little backwater town trying to escape the mundane nature of the place so we probably met. I'm in Carlisle from 24th - 29th December and will hopefully being going out and about to visit me 'ole chums at some point so I might see you then.
