Well either my shoes have all rapidly expanded overnight, or my feet are beginning to quickly shrink. This is not a good thing. I wobbled my way to work in lose shoess, and proceeded to coat my fingers in the sticky white stuff better known as Tippex this morning, after a very brief conversation with the lovely ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
zevbofb3k over a cup of tea as she headed out for an exam re-sit today.
Typical Monday Morning really!
We get nice prints of the Forest Photo shoot today, which I'm rather looking forward to. Well, I SAY today, it'll be tomorrow morning - hopefully that will givesapphrine a reason to smile before he embarks upon exam fun. Woo!
And insapphrine news, he's submitting a profile to Wicked Talent, the UK branch of Donna Ricci's (donnaricci) modelling/casting agency in LA. I think his laptop is one its way out, as it is rapidly becoming a rattling brick. However he DID manage to temporarily fix it on the Carlisle-bound train with my hair clip - much to the amusement of the other 2 people sat at our table.
This enabled him to play with some existing images to post for his profile. I'm really excited for him - it's snowballing so quickly!
I date a model! *is smug and proud*
This year we were hoping to go to the Morecambe Goth Fest, but as it's apparently been cancelled, we intend to go to Carnival of Souls instead. I've briefly mentioned it tozevbofb3k and it seems likely that GothSoc may be organising a trip there. With a bit of luck, I won't feel too awkward. I know for sure that Doug and karen will be there, along with Dean and Julie. I'm sure there would be, at most, be a frosty silence, but I don't want to feel uncomfortable.
That's one of the major downfalls of the UK Goth scene. Events tend to have regulars who all know each other rather well, and Karen and Doug are now a well established couple. Added to which, Karen, Dean and Julie know rather a lot of people within the scene.
But I worry too much, don't I?! It'll be the same whatever we go to so I may as well just get on with it. I can't hide from all large goth events successfully for too long, and I doubt anything would be said. They've been very polite and courtesous in the past, and certainly in dealings with mutual acquaintances.
Besides, I'll have you lot to shield me!
And whilst I'm thinking about it, who exactly DOES "you lot" include?
