(NB - All answers screened as per usual!)

People. About 3 weeks ago, I realised with horror that my Samsung phone wasn't charging. I tried a different charger (which was proved to work on another phone) but no cigar. Being me and useless with technogubbins, I'd stored all of my phone numbers on the phone rather than the sim (and no, I don't ever learn!).

As such, although my number is still the same, I have NO IDEA who most of my old texts are from.

This is my (by now regular) plead for anyone who has my number to text me with their name so I can address the issue. Alternatively, comment.

Link to my details here for those of you who don't have me stored anywhere but would like to. If you can't see it, it's because I don't know you!

PHONE DEATH DISASTER

Why I need you all to comment / text me with your name and number )

Please can you assume I've not got your number (unless you're [livejournal.com profile] devalmont). Text your name to me, or comment (I'll leave them screened). MY number hasn't changed, just the phone!

Mine is here if you've not currently got it - viewable to my lj friends only :P.

Thanks.

Me xx

Sorry peeps, for those of you who've been trying to reach me by phone for the past week...

my phone is temporarily dead

...because I thought it was lost, so cancelled the sim card and blocked the phone, and have been waiting for the new sim card to arrive. I have now unblocked the phone but need to register the sim today (as well as charging it up I assume!). SO, if you've tried to call or text, humblest apologies. Those of you who've got my landline number, use that for the time being but normal service will (hopefully) be resumed by the end of the weekend at the latest.

Is it wrong to spend all Sunday in pjs, hunting for Dita icons and then uploading them to your lj? Thought not...

So the 'diet' continues with the odd wobble. And it strikes me that Tesco have a huge whopping great hole in the 'grab it quick for lunch' section.

See, I'm trying to avoid too much starch etc - I'm going for a detox so anything fresh and vegtable ish is in, as is low fat protein (steamed, grilled, poached meats and fish) and a little rice. Carbs aren't out but as my diet usually consists of bread, bread and more bread, I'm trying to reduce that a little too. Which stretches to pasta.

Now, this evening I'm attending a team building thingy and we're having a buffet. Lots of bread and crisps and sausage rolls etc so I thought I'd be really good this lunchtime and have a salad. I work next to a HUGE 24 hour Tescos so lunch really oughtn't be a major issue. Except they don't have any ready prepped salad with meat which doesn't include pasta.

So I've just spent 10 minutes picking out carefully all the bits of pasta from my 'Healthy Eating Roast Chicken Salad Bowl'. ARGH!

Anyone know why they do it like that?

Nabbed this from [livejournal.com profile] sapphrine... please take note. TELL ME if you're using Frienditto. Quoted from [livejournal.com profile] sapphrine:

"Please all go to the following link and read the information on Frienditto and what it does and then check your friendslist for vulnerabilities. I have worked it through and there is no one on my friendslist currently who is a confirmed user of this product however, if you do use it, i would really appreciate it if you tell me about it please. If I was to ever find any of my friends limited entries up publicly archived I would not be impressed."

Could anyone tell me which sadistic so and so it was that decided that .5 of an FM was adequate and ample difference between Kerrang! (105.2) and Saga FM (105.7)?

Monday mornings are never easy but I am under the distinct impression that the remainder of the day will have me conviced that I should have stayed under my warm red duvet, hiding in red netting with Buzz-Buzz and The Princess Bride.

Right - rather late in coming, I know.

But.

The planned meal at the Thai Orchid. For various reasons, it's not going ahead. We shall instead be having the mother of all house partys in a short while, at which point Ali's birthday in conjunction with mine shall be celebrated. Rah!

I'll try and comment on the ljs of those who were planning to come in case they miss this - but please comment to let me know you've seen it so I don't pester you.

Ranty post to follow. I'm irked.

[Edit - Party date is yet to be confirmed, thought about, discussed, passed by the majority etc.... also, if you're now wondering what to do with your Saturday night, (as if) there is a suggestion over on [livejournal.com profile] eddy_'s lj :D]

You know, I fell down a hole post clubbing one night. My legs disappeared into an uncovered drain. Or rather, one leg. Just as I was trying to impress a stunningly handsome young man (who subsequently rescued me and bizarely decided this had not put him off me). And no, I was not at all drunk that night. I was however wearing a short red pvc skirt, new rocks and a skimpy top. And whilst stuck in this hole, I got a fit of the giggles and couldn't get out.

Well, until said young man assisted a rather hysterical tears streaming down face with laughter heap of me. Must be what won him over.

I can't find my glasses. And no, they aren't in the bottom drawer.

Meh.
