Gah! No reply.... ah well.

Read this on a card whilst in Cambridge, and it made me smile, especially given recent circumstances:

Don't be sad because it's over. Smile because it happened.

I know I'm not the only one who is in need of sentimental silly things at the moment! To everyone else out there going through difficult things (most of which put my problems to shame), I hope you manage to get through them as quickly and as undamaged as possible.

How to have fun in Cambridge...

Just letting you know what I got up to Friday 30th April - Sunday 2nd May in detail!

After setting off somewhat later than I intended (which was partly due to a touch of apathy and partly to do with being totally disorganised in the leaving of huggirl's little nook of Kidderminster) and with help from the toxicpixie, I made it onto the bus with 1 seat to spare.

( Saturday night in Cambridge.... )

( I feel HAPPY - because I've had the time and space I needed in which to think.... )

( A new house? )

The person whom I ought to thank the most though must be hardcorenympho for being completely fine with it all - you, my dear, are a star. Thank you. I hope to see you there next time!

The journey home was hugely uneventful, with the exception that it again gave me pause for reflection - both on my weekend and on the events leading up to it.

I've decided as and when that I'd quite like to live in Cambridge. Not in the immediate future, but it's a very beautiful place. I can see the attraction. gypsygoth, you've infected me!

Well, that's all for now. Except to reassure you all that I am ok. Not perfect, but ok. Thank you all for your concern and support recently, you've been amazing.

Well the plan was, as sapphrine will testify:

Home & Bed.

BUT

beaut1ful_dark and Tom have just arrived back home, with DVDs. The Princess Bride and Blow. I may be up for a while longer!

Other than that, have had a very pleasant and relaxing evening with sapphrine. I think we both needed the hugs! I hope he now realises that he has one less thing to worry about right now.

Worrying about me is not something any of you need to do, especially him. He's lots of problems he needs to deal with himself at the moment. Some of them I hope to help with, others which I can't. But it was lovely to be able to deal with seeing him and I know we're going to be close friends far sooner than I'd hoped.

Anyway - I hear the dvd starting up and I've a bed to make before I go through. Have a good evening y'all, whatever you're up to.

Additionally, I'm stopping the public posts once more. It was a temporary measure to share with as many people as possible the knowledge that I'm ok. Also, doing friends only would have meant that various Cambridge folk whos lj names ellude me could not have seen the positive effect they had had on a gothette.
