Well, as usual today, I trundled along to the train, grabbing my usual copy of Metro to provide a smidgen of entertainment for the duration of my journey. I always skip straight to Nemi (cartoon strip about a gothy girl who looks like quite like [livejournal.com profile] zevbofb3k) for my daily fix, but then meander through the remainder of the paper, skimming to see if I can find amusing odds and ends.

Today they surpassed themselves.

A village church has been put up for sale with one proviso - it's new owners keep the gravyard open for use.

Local families have been allocated plots, meaning the buyer will have to allow funerals to be held on the propetry. The Church of England has put 12th century

"But people must be allowed to visit graves as well," a spokesman said. "This means there is little scope for gardening by new owners."... now where can I buy a lottery ticket....
