Am feeling rather fragile today as a result. So wanted to put some soothing music on but as the stereo is broken, I ended up getting up, hoovering, buying food, drinking coffee, dusting and am about to put right my lack of noise. I'm sick of using my not-so-wonderful radio as a source of entertainment!

I wish the weather would make up its mind. We've had warm sun, cold rain, cloudy clear skies, high winds and light breezes. Ah well, at least it isn't boring.

Thank God his bladder and sphincter still functioned!
But the rest of his body wouldn't respond to the conscious commands. Though he could see and hear, he could neither close his eyes nor cover his ears.

my offering....

"Planting his right foot on Irish soil, he burst into a poem preserved in both the Book of Lecan and the Book of Ballymote. It is a good example of pantheistic philosophy of the Celtic races, and a very close parallel to it is contained in an early Welsh poem, called the "Battle of the Trees", and attributed to the famous bard Taliesin. "I am the wind that blows upon the sea", sang Amergin; "I am the ocean wave; I am the murmur of the surges; I am seven battalions; I am a strong bull; I am an eagle on a rock; I am a ray of the sun; I am the most beautiful of herbs; I am a courageous wild boar; I am a salmon in the water; I am a lake upon a plain; I am a cunning artist; I am a gigantic, sword wielding champion; I can shift my shape like a god".

Phew, that was a long one!
