Given how *wonderful* my day has been (<-- note the slight hint of sarcasm there),
devalmont and I have opted to celebrate my birthday a day early. Esspecially as I'm likely to have to come in early and leave late tomorrow (brain = dead right now - or at least, acting like it - hence I'm not doing a late one today).
Now, this means I'm unlikely to make it along to the Bun Shop tomorrow evening so those of you who read this and go, could you pass it on to the others for me? I'm spending time with the ever lovely
akonken on thursday so in the unlikely event that I'm going to be festooned with cards tomorrow, I'm sure she'd grab them for me. That, or I'll be there a week on Tuesday.
Birthdays are odd things. I want to know I'm loved and thought about but I don't relish the idea of being older. I certainly don't FEEL any older (just more tired and weight goes on easier these days). In fact, I still feel mentally about 16 / 17. Anyway, I'm rambling on so I'm off. Have a lovely evening peeps and I'll see you around soon. I'm escaping to Aston Cantlow this weekend for a bit of relaxation with the 'rents which I'm sure will help cheer my mood. Gah and grumble and bah and humbug etc etc etc...

6 degrees of separation
He told me his name was Pete. We met on the dancefloor of The Walkabout in Newquay. He was with a load of other guys who were celebrating someones stag night. He's from Salford. The other guys called him Davey all night, he didn't know why, but they'd just all met that weekend, and I'm fairly sure his middle name is David. One of his mates had a large tattoo on the top of his arm, with a fish on the underside that needed coloured in, but it was an awesome tattoo. He was very cute, not really tall (I guess 5 9 ish) had shoulder length auburn coloured hair. He was a freelance graphic designer. He said he has a twin brother who weighs more than him, and has less hair! Erm, he said he ran 8 hours a week. He hasn't got any piercings or tattoos. Most of the guys had girlfriends but Pete said he was single.
Oooh, the only other thing I rememeber is that they tore his shirt open on the dancefloor and poured their drinks down his chest...hehe. And he walked me to the taxi and kept me warm!
