Well, kinda. It's not getting older that bothers him persay, but he can no longer be a member of the 27 club. IE, lots of famous musicians died by the age of 27 and the majority of the ones you'll no doubt be aware of, you'll know about BECAUSE they died and became huge once they'd snuffed it.

Of course, I'm perfectly delighted he hasn't joined the club personally and I think deep down he's happy too, but as a nearly-rock star, he has an image to portray.... :)

see point him in the direction of the awesoem rock stars who have had the good sense to live past 27 :) and he'll feel much better :) that or take up my trick - My birth Certificate and Passport are just plain wrong - i am not 23 - not in the slightest i'm 21 again, again and next birthday is 21 still don't argue with me about this and so on :) I may accept 25 when I'm about 33.

worryingly people keep guessing my age right :s though i did ratehr gratifyingly get charged half fare on a bus on the weekend :) (fluffy ear muffs for teh win! it would appear)
