It would seem that an evil chinese company decided to make use of my hotmail account yesterday. If you got a message from me which was a little odd and very NOT me, it's because it was them;
" Heya,how are you doing recently ? I would like to introduce you a very good company which i knew.Their website is www.business918.com .They can offer you all kinds of electronical products which you need like laptops ,gps ,TV LCD,cell phones,ps3,MP3/4,motorcycles etc........Please take some time to have a check ,there must be somethings you 'd like to purchase .

Needless to say, I'm not impressed. I've changed my password, am changing my security questions etc and will soon be opening a different account. In the meantime, message me on lj or through lj's email forwarding. I will be ensuring it's always kept up to date. The address is my user name at livejournal dot com.
For the techies, it was sent through the autoresponse / vacation response system. The message is sitting in my 'sent' emails!! Quite how they got in, I don't know but I was probably careless with a password somewhere. It seems that they've not done much else but at least I can give everyone else a heads up. If you can think of anything else I can do, let me know.
